Today wasn't just a bike ride.
Today was a journey into the meaning of inclusion, resilience, and community. 🚴♀️
I joined the 160.cm Association for an event supporting people with Multiple Sclerosis — but what I found along the way was much more than I expected.
We set off slowly, in a colorful, diverse group:
a person in a wheelchair pushing forward with strength,
an 8-year-old child riding with bright, curious eyes,
an 80-year-old man pedaling with the wisdom of a lifetime,
and my friend Fabio — living with MS, and teaching me every day that resilience isn’t just a word... it’s a way of life. ✨
As we rode, I could feel something powerful in the air.
We weren't just moving our legs.
We were moving boundaries.
We were breaking stereotypes.
We were building bridges between generations, abilities, and stories.
At one point, I had the chance to share my personal journey: living with Type 1 Diabetes, pursuing sports, embracing challenges.
I spoke about resilience, about feeling different, and about finding strength in that difference.
And what I received in return — smiles, hugs, honest questions — filled me more than any medal ever could.
I realized something simple, yet so deep:
I will never be "like everyone else."
And that’s not a weakness — it’s my greatest gift.
With less, I’ve found more joy, more meaning, more connection.
Today, small victories became grand celebrations.
Today, hope didn’t just survive — it shined.
Thank you, @160.cm, for reminding me that real strength is not about speed or power —
It’s about riding forward, together. 💙
