Beautiful day with ATACers at the Gran Fondo Rosa Race.
I felt great during the race, despite the riding pace being too fast for what I can usually sustain. After 90km, I could no longer keep up with the group; therefore, I decided to continue with my friend Fernando.
I kept integrating during the day, every 30-40 minutes. Although I was too late for the first integration, which caused me to feel tired and low.
At the end of the day, I was really done, and I could not have pushed more.
Proud of myself for the glucose management.
- I learned not to be scared of Hypos
- Keep integrating gradually
- Not reduce the basal insulin
- Do not overcorrect the high glucose
